WHOA Election Results

The Walking Horse Owners’ Association has announced the results of their national directors election. David Pruett has been re-elected as the president of WHOA for 2007. The following eight members have been elected to three-year terms as Board of Directors.

DIRECTORS (3 year terms): Debra Coleman, Kathy Graves, Chris Messick, Bud Moore, Newton Parks, David Ranson, Iris Schumann and Deborah Williams

Frank Clark scores twice
Fifteen world grand champions were crowned Thursday night, the first of three world title nights at the 86th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. Dan Asche of First Christian Church gave the prayer. Craig Campbell of Eagleville gave a country touch to the “Star Spangled Banner”, while Ronnie Spears and White Diamond Dollar presented the Stars and Stripes. Read More

Preliminary competition closes out strong
The temperature hovered around 100 degrees for much of the day, but a good crowd and 13 classes of horses didn’t let the heat bother them Wednesday night in “The Big Oval” at the 86th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.
