WHOA Makes Rule Changes For 2014

The Walking Horse Owners' Association (WHOA) board of directors met February 8th and approved the following rule changes for 2014.
1. The toe length for all horses competing at WHOA shows and events will be limited to 5"
2. Only clear hoof polish will be allowed at WHOA shows and events
3. Tungsten will be prohibited on the show grounds during WHOA shows and events
4. Hoof bands will be prohibited on the show grounds during WHOA show and events
The changes were made in an attempt to improve the marketability of the Tennessee Walking Horse according to WHOA. The full release from WHOA will be printed upon its receipt.
