WHOA Membership for High Points
Friday, September 7, 2012
To qualify for the WHOA High Point program the Walking Horse Owners' Association has issued a reminder that to assure that your achievements are recognized in this program that September 15, 2012 is the deadline to join, or renew WHOA memberships.
The prestigious WHOA National High Point award requires that the owner of an eligible horse must be a member of WHOA. Equitation riders must also be a member.
A banquet is scheduled in February for the recipients of the 2012 National High Point awards.
More than 350 reservations were made for the 2011 banquet. Reservations to the banquet are mailed in January for winners of the 2012 program.
To check on points for the Walking Horse Owners' National High point program please see the Walking Horse Report, or contact the WHOA office. All horse shows that report their show results to the Walking Horse Report within 30 days of the event count toward WHOA National High Points.
If at this date you have not renewed, or become a 2012 member of WHOA, you may join online or contact the WHOA office.
