At the recent WHTA board meeting, the Walking Horse Report was recognized as the Official Publication of the Walking Horse Trainers Association.

The Report, its President David L. Howard, and the Walking Horse Trainers Association have enjoyed a longstanding partnership of working together to promote the Tennessee Walking Horse. Dabora, Inc., the parent company of Walking Horse Report, has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising to the WHTA, and countless hours of time and energy to support the work of the WHTA.

Most recently, the Report has agreed to administer the new WHTA Riders Cup program, an incentive program for trainers to encourage them to show their open horses at affiliated horse shows.

As the official publication of the WHTA, the Report will be the only publication distributed at WHTA events including the upcoming National Trainers Show (except for TWHBEA’s Voice magazine).

"We are delighted to be recognized by the WHTA as their official publication,” says Publisher Christy Howard Parsons. “The trainers have been instrumental in the development of the Report over the years and we have always enjoyed working closely with them. We certainly appreciate this show of support.”
