The Walking Horse Report donated $1,250 of its 2008 scholarship fund to the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA). The TWHBEA scholarship fund was in need in 2008 of donations so the Walking Horse Report decided to extend its fifth scholarship of 2008 to Blake Everett in conjunction with TWHBEA.
The other four recipients were Sarah Rowland, Jimmy Civils, Samantha Green and Christina Turner.
The Walking Horse Report gave over $5,000 in scholarships to youth in the industry in 2008. One hundred dollars of every ad in the spring Amateur-Juvenile issue went to the scholarship fund.
