As the 2023 show season approaches, please be aware that in order to enter a horse at either American Horse Services HIO affiliated shows, KY HIO affiliated shows or SHOW HIO affiliated shows, a current valid Walking Horse Trainers' Association issued license is required.

The cost for a license is $100 if paid by March 18, 2023. If paid after the deadline, the cost is $250. This will be strictly enforced by the HIOs and the Walking Horse Trainers' Association with no exceptions. Each HIO will have Walking Horse Trainers' Association license applications onsite.
