FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Walking Horse Trainers' Auxiliary met on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Franklin Cool Springs Marriott in conjunction with the WHTA Convention to plan and prepare for 2012.

 The Auxiliary will continue its donations of nearly $10,000 to nine different therapeutic riding programs around the country that incorporate Tennessee Walking Horses in their programs. The number of scholarships offered in 2012 will be the same as in 2011.
 
The Auxiliary's main fundraiser, the Money Tree Classic Horse Show will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012.
 
Officers for 2012 were presented by the nominating committee and were voted into effect. President is Sarah Smith; First Vice President is Lynn Womack; Second Vice President is Alie Napier; Susan Coleman will take over the Treasurer's position and Marguerite Sims will continue as Secretary.
