WHTA Issues Reminder

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) is dedicated to the continued enforcement of the Horse Protection Act and showing of sound Tennessee Walking Horses. The WHTA is very proud of the efforts of its members in 2009 for the overall presentation of their horses and continues to support the efforts of SHOW and Co-Compliance Coordinators, Drs. Steve Mullins and John Bennett.

The WHTA would like to remind all trainers that tightening of the bands after inspection is not allowed. Violators of this policy will be in violation of the SHOW inspection guidelines and will be subject to penalties from SHOW.
