WHTA announces judges for 50th Anniversary Show

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association has announced the Judges for their 50th Anniversary Walking Horse Trainers’ Show to be held Mar. 22-24 at Calsonic Arena. Ballots were sent out to the trainers and tallied and the top three were Allen Forman, Ronnie Spears and Jamie Bradshaw. The trainers are expecting an exciting show and encourage everyone to attend and participate to make it a highly successful show.

Walking Horse owner and exhibitor, Chad Spencer is the head women’s basketball coach at Moore County High School. Spencer led his Raiderette team to the Class 1A State Championship game earlier this year, finishing as the runner-up.

The Ocoee Spring Fling, scheduled for April 19-20, 2024, at the Tri-State Exhibition Center in McDonald, Tennessee, is adding a class on Friday night. Class 14a will be the Youth Auxiliary Performance Riders 17 and Under. They are also making the Model class a Riders’ Cup class. Judging the show will be Chad Adams, Keith Blackburn and Claire Hankins.
