World Grand Championship Class Entry Fee Same As 2009
Wednesday, September 1, 2010
The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has announced that, as in 2009, any horse that enters the World Grand Championship class, class 183, and does not show will be refunded their entry fee.
The 72nd annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will culminate on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 with the crowning of the World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse. The entry fee for class 183 is $2,020. The deadline to make entries for all Saturday night championship classes is noon on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.
“Last year, 2009, was our first time to offer this refund to our World Grand Championship entries and it was well received by all. We continue our commitment to crown the best Tennessee Walking Horse, as it is the ambassador for our breed in the coming year. We understand the economic pressures that remain in effect today and want to give as many horses the opportunity to compete as possible,” states Celebration CEO Dr. Doyle Meadows.
