World Versatility Show Sets Record
Monday, July 25, 2011
Murfreesboro, TN - The latest edition of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) World Versatility show was the largest yet, with a grand total of 502 entries. Held at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, July 22 - 24, 2011, the show featured an array of versatility classes such as reining, dressage, jumping, western riding, barrel racing and trail obstacle, as well as a full compliment of flat shod rail classes. Attracting the best of the best among Tennessee Walking Horse versatility competitors, exhibitors came from as far away as California to test their abilities.
A highlight of the weekend was the $2,500 Reining Jackpot won by Hey Cowboy and Jessica Schultz for the Kuszlyk family of Naples, Florida. Double Beam and Jackie Dean of Raleigh, North Carolina, also had a great show as they rode their way to both the Adult Highpoint and Overall Highpoint Awards.
Show results will be posted as soon as they are available.
