WEST BEND, Wis. – The Wisconsin Walking Horse Association (WWHA) ended its show season on Sept. 26, 2009, with the Wisconsin Fall Finale. The show was held in West Bend, Wis., at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Frankie Jo Bradley made the trip from Kentucky to take on the duties of judging the fine entries.

With it being a cool day and the final show of the season, the numbers were down somewhat, but spirits definitely were not. Everyone also enjoyed another fine potluck at the end of the day.

Coming up in November is the annual WHAA Awards Banquet, which is a fun-filled event for all the members to reminisce and recap the great year. Plus, there will be the election of three new board members. The January membership meeting will feature an award night for the new Trail Program, which is being headed by Kim Sizer.
