The Tennessee Walking Horse Youth Association (TWHYA) recently paid for the restoration of a portrait of Haynes Peacock and Col. R.L. Haynes, the 1940 and 1941 World Grand Champions. The portrait was restored by Jennifer Sterne of Pegram, TN and is part of the collection of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum. It's currently on loan to the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) and can be viewed in the lobby of their headquarters, located at 250 N. Ellington Parkway in Lewisburg, TN. TWHBEA is open from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
