2003 Year In Walking Horse Dedication: Coin Maker

As one of the winningest horses in Celebration history, Coin Maker has redefined the Show Pleasure division. In addition to showing regularly throughout the season and winning virtually every time he enters the ring, Coin Maker has won an impressive 24 Celebration blues. Showing in both Open and Amateur competition, Coin Maker has left the Celebration oval with the win each of the last 16 times he has entered that ring.

WHTA holds conference call

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association held its board meeting via conference call on April 24th. The board voted to delay the May general membership meeting due to the coronavirus. The board was informed they were approved for the Paycheck Protection Program through the federal government’s stimulus package.

Celebration selects Fun Show panel

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration board of directors has selected Smokey Carswell, Chris Bobo and Dickie Scrivner to judge the 50th Annual Spring Fun Show. The Fun show will be outdoors in Maverick Arena May 20-23, 2020 in accordance with state health and safety protocols.
