The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration is pleased to announce the 2026 class schedule following valuable feedback received from owners, trainers, and exhibitors.

Based on suggestions submitted to the Entry Office, modifications have been made to improve the overall flow of the program and provide greater separation between divisions. One of the most significant changes is the addition of Championship classes beginning on Wednesday night.

Among the adjustments, Class 11 – Amateur Owned & Trained All Day Pleasure Walking Horses, Optional Tack, Registration Required (No Professional Training in the Last 90 Days) and Class 35 – Owner-Amateur Riders on Four & Five-Year-Old Trail Pleasure Walking Horses, Optional Tack have exchanged positions. In addition, Class 17 – Yearling Fillies & Colts National Futurity, Foaled Fall 2024 and Class 19 – Weanling Fillies National Futurity, Foaled Spring 2026 have been repositioned at the request of exhibitors.

Further changes include the exchange of positions between Class 48 – Owner-Amateur Novice Gentlemen Riders on Novice Walking Stallions and Class 70 – Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Ponies, Stallions, as well as Class 177 – Owner-Amateur Riders on Show Pleasure Walking Horses, Five Years & Under, World Grand Championship® and Class 201 – Lite Shod Walking Horses, World Grand Championship®, Optional Tack.

To provide greater spacing between featured divisions, Class 154 – Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Horses, Classic Horses 15 Years & Over has been moved to the beginning of its session, creating additional separation from the Fine Harness World Championship.

“These schedule adjustments reflect the continued collaboration between The Celebration and the owners, trainers, and exhibitors who support our industry,” said Celebration CEO Warren Wells. “We appreciate the input received and remain committed to providing the best possible experience for participants and spectators alike. The addition of Championship classes on Wednesday night is expected to help balance the schedule throughout the week and provide an exciting start to Championship competition.”

The Celebration appreciates the feedback received throughout this process and looks forward to welcoming exhibitors and fans to the 88th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration®.
