Championship Entry and Vet Slip Deadlines Begin Tuesday

Exhibitors and trainers are reminded that the deadline to enter all championship classes is noon the day before the class is scheduled to be held. Vet slips for each championship class are also due by the same deadline.
For the first time, championship competition at the Celebration will begin Wednesday night, making Tuesday at noon the first championship entry and vet slip deadline.
Participants are encouraged to plan accordingly and make sure both championship entries and required vet slips are submitted by the appropriate noon deadline.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The traditional Stick Horse class commenced at 6:40 on Saturday evening, sponsored by Sugar Creek Farms and Creekview Farms. Steve Buttleman played the Kentucky Derby theme to welcome everyone. Everyone got a blue ribbon and a Purity ice cream coupon for participating. Kingland Kids and Steve Buttleman also made sure everyone had a glow-in-the-dark necklace as well.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Friday night has long been Patriotic Night at The Celebration, where everyone dons their red, white and blue. It is a celebration of freedom and those who fought hard to maintain that freedom. This year was especially poignant as the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence was commemorated earlier this year.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. –Tonight was the first full night of world grand championship classes. It was also dubbed Throwback Thursday, where spectators and exhibitors alike celebrated the rich history of this great breed. They especially commemorated Betty Sain, the first female trainer to win a World Grand Championship exactly 60 years ago.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – It was Wednesday night at The Celebration. A week of showing had already transpired as workers and attendees alike prepared for the last three monumental nights. For now, Wednesday would see some of the first world grand champions crowned. Furthermore, it was Pink Night in the Big Oval, wherein everyone wore pink to support the Bedford Cancer Foundation.
