Abernathy Reigns Supreme in Mississippi

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. - The 2009 Mississippi Horse Show Association Awards Banquet was held Saturday, Feb. 21. The banquet had well over 100 people who attended to enjoy the great food, awards and camaraderie.

Joy Smith, president of the association, did a wonderful job along with the rest of the staff planning and organizing the evening. Lynn Brady Tipton started out the awards ceremony by inducting her father, Bill Brady, into the hall of fame. The awards came to an end with Edgar Abernathy being named Trainer of the Year for the second year in a row.

The evening ended with everyone having a grand time dancing the night away to the entertainment.
