Arrangements Being Made for Services for Buddy Hugh

Arrangements for a memorial service for walking horse trainer Buddy Hugh are being made this morning at Gowen-Smith Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Information will be available at Gowen-Smith (931-684-1372) by noon today.

A service will be conducted in Shelbyville this week and Mr. Hugh will be laid to rest in his home state of Washington.

Mr. Hugh died of an apparent heart attack while on a hauling job this past week. His body was found in his truck at a truck stop outside El Paso, Texas, on Tuesday, Feb. 20. He is survived by his two sons, Bobby and Jere Hugh, and by his father, Fredolph Hugh of Washington State.
