The American Saddlebred Association of Maine will hold it’s 28th annual Summer Show on July 19, 20, and 21, 2002 at the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds, Skowhegan, Maine. Jo Hight will be returning as the show manager and Patricia Leclerc is the secretary. Show treasurer is the association’s president, Linda Saunders.

Several classes that have not been filling well have been deleted from the program and others have been combined, making room for some new and interesting classes. Introduced in the 2002 show schedule are Academy classes.

Saturday night’s theme class is limited to three minutes this year and the theme is “Olympics” and must include a horse. Back again this year are the ride a five junior and adult classes and the young at heart class for those 50 years old and over. The show will offer it’s annual ice cream social and an exhibitor’s party.
