Beaty and Radar Zero In On Jackson County
Thursday, July 16, 2009

GAINESBORO, Tenn. - Approximately 125 contenders entered the ring at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, in Gainesboro, Tenn., on Saturday evening, July 11, 2009, to seek the approval of Layne Leverette. Judge Leverette traveled from Petersburg, Tenn., to evaluate the 32-class program.
The legendary Jackson County Lady Blue Devils Basketball Team sponsored the event and with the help of Horse Show Chairman Jim Brown and family and friends, the show was a success.
Scott Beaty and the fancy Radar’s Motown brought things to a close when they exited the ring with the Riders’ Cup Walking Stake title. Teddy and Bernice Turner are the proud owners of the bright red stallion. Buist Carr directed his Whata Beautiful Sky to the reserve ribbon and Eric Swafford and Exclusive Gold rounded out the third slot for Zachary Swafford of Pikeville, Tenn.
