Russ Thompson Stables announces the sale of WGC It’s Billy the Kid to Roger and Rebecca Emerick of Hillsborough, CA and Wartrace, TN. The previous owners were Sue Brassy and the Doobrovo Group of Chino, CA.
It’s Billy The Kid is the 2002 WGC Amateur Two Year Old and 2004 Reserve WGC Amateur Four Year Old with Sue Brassy. Russ Thompson rode him to the 2005 and 2006 Reserve WC Aged Stallion title.
It’s Billy The Kids’ is sired by Gen's Armed & Dangerous out of the Pride's Generator mare Tough Cookie. His show ring siblings include WC Lizzie Borden, RWC Miss Bernadette, Sam Whiskey and Whiskey Pete.
It's Billy The Kid just completed his first blue ribbon winning ride of 2008 by winning the Walking Horse Championship Stake Class at the Desert Classic. He also won this same title at the 2007 Desert Classic.
