Walking horse trainer, Brad Kirby was hospitalized on February 6 with bleak expectations. Kirby was in a medically induced coma for several days and suffered from internal bleeding. In fact, on February 16, the family was prepared for the worse. Then a true miracle occurred, Kirby awoke from his coma, responded to voice commands and even recognized family members.

Kirby is now continuing his slow recovery at the home of his mother, Brenda Upton. "He is getting stronger every day," stated Upton.

Cards and well wishes may be mailed to 508 Shadow Drive Shelbyville, TN 37160.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Brad Kirby and his family.
