The inaugural Celebration Fall Classic will be the triple-point Riders' Cup Show of the year. The only other triple-point shows are the National Trainers' Show and the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. The Celebration Classic will be held October 14-16, 2010 at the Celebration outdoor arena.
Adjudicating the Celebration Fall Classic will be Jamie Hankins of Kentucky, Billy Young of Arizona and Amy Trimble of Tennessee. The Celebration is also a $2,500 divisional sponsor of the Riders' Cup and has given a total of $11,720 to the Riders' Cup program through sponsorship and entry fees.
"We are happy to support and help our trainers and Walking Horse Trainers' Association through our Stake Class Riders' Cup sponsorship and affiliating our Spring Fun Show, Celebration and Fall Classic with the Riders' Cup," said Celebration CEO Dr. Doyle Meadows.
2010 marked the first year that the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration affiliated its World Championship show in the program. The Spring Fun Show has been a part of the program since its inception. The inaugural Fall Classic offers trainers an opportunity to boost their status in the rankings with only one month remaining in the show season after the Fall Classic.
