The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration (TWHNC) has announced the formation of a new Walking Horse show to be called the Celebration Fall Classic. The three-day event will be held Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 14-16, 2010.

The show will be held in the outdoor stadium and mark the first new event managed by The Celebration since the Great Celebration Mule and Donkey Show began in 1992. The Fall Classic will be the fourth event managed and owned by The Celebration as it joins the Spring Fun Show, Mule and Donkey Show and The Celebration.

“We think the show will be fun and provide the Walking Horse Industry with another premier event held on the historic Celebration show grounds,” said Dr. Doyle Meadows, TWHNC CEO.

In addition, Meadows indicated The Celebration board is looking into monetary incentives that would be distributed to both performance and pleasure horse owners and trainers. The Fall Classic has been designated as a triple point show for the WHTA Riders’ Cup series for 2010.  The Fall Classic will be one of only three triple-point shows, joining the National Trainers’ Show and The Celebration.
