David Landrum Stables Adds Rocky McCoy

David Landrum Stables has announced the addition of Rocky McCoy to its training staff. McCoy, from Lebanon, Ky., and Landrum reached an agreement that will bring McCoy from Kentucky to David Landrum Stables in Franklin, Tenn. McCoy joins Landrum, Tim Smith and Brandon Derrick to comprise the training staff of Landrum Stables.
McCoy is best known for his work with Walk Time Charlie, who was recently sold to John Callicut. Callicut directed the talented four-year-old stallion to the Trainers' Show Amateur Four-Year-Old blue ribbon under the direction of Chad Baucom Stables.
McCoy directed Walk Time Charlie to the 2009 Trainers' Show Two-Year-Old championship as well as the Kentucky Celebration title that year as well. McCoy rode Walk Time Charlie to the 2010 Madison County Three-Year-Old blue ribbon and sold the talented stallion in early 2011.
