David Smith Update
Thursday, November 14, 2013
David Smith was injured in a horse related accident on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013. At that time the Report posted that Smith was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in serious/critical condition.
Since that time Smith is beginning to show some signs of improvement. His physical therapist is optimistic due to his occasional responses to questions by shaking his head and squeezing hands.
In a few days, Smith will be relocated to a select Specialty Hospital for extensive physical therapy. The family anticipates that Smith may have to be at this facility for up to 30 days. At that time an evaluation will be made on Smiths future care.
The family is grateful for all the continued prayers, cards and calls. Cards may be sent to: 333 Claypool Boyce Road Alvaton, Ky 42122
