Dean Forman - Obituary
Tuesday, December 9, 2014
Dean Forman, father of Allen Forman, passed away December 3, 2014. He was a lifelong dairyman, but also Dean had a deep love for Tennessee Walking Horses. He witnessed the rising careers of several of the industry’s great trainers through Claude Brown Stables in Morehead, Ky., and Kibler Farms in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
Dean, as well as Allen’s grandfather Art Foster, watched their friend, Marvin Wilson, win the Celebration in the storm of 1969. Dean was always happy to watch a good horse show and see people enjoying their horses. Dean was always proud of his Tennessee Walking Horse trainer son, Allen Forman, and especially enjoyed watching Allen and Reserve World Champion Seve from the beginning of Seve’s career.
Additional survivors include two daughters, four sons and eight grandchildren as well as his beloved brother, Mike Forman, and many extended family members and friends. Dean was preceded in death by one son and his wife, Toby. Dean will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
