Derickson & Way Wed



               
 
Erica Derickson, daughter of Herbert and Jill Derickson, and Thad Way, son of Jack and Bentley Way and Jake and Elizabeth Thornell, were married on September 12, 2009 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Panama City Beach, Fla. Derickson’s grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. John Brundige and H.T. and Wilda Derickson. Way’s grandfather is Cary Findlay. Pastor Tim Brooks of Hot Springs, Ark., performed the ceremony.

The maid of honor was Derickson’s twin sister, Maria. Bridesmaids were, Candy Green, Jenna and Lauren Hamilton, Jessica Day, Meg Callaway and Erica Jenné. Serving as the junior bridesmaid was Liza Robbins Thornell. Flowergirls were Kounti Green, Mary Francis Way and Caroline Wesley Way. The best man was Jack Way. Groomsmen were Winston and Alex Way, Drew Smithart, Jake Thornell, Chris Graves and Bart Young. Thomas Derickson was the junior groomsman with Will Derickson serving as the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Shrimp Boat Restaurant. Following the wedding the couple enjoyed a honeymoon in San Francisco, Calif. The couple will reside in Panama City Beach, Fla., where Erica is employed at Neve’s Advertising Agency and Thad is employed with the Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show.
