The SHOW Rules Committee would like to remind all exhibitors, amateur and professionals about a rule that is being violated.

Did you know that you are not allowed to come into the arena with your rider? You must stop at the gate. You are not allowed into the arena without show officials approval.

The only time you are allowed in the arena is during a verified time out and you are asked to come into the ring by the show announcer OR one attendant may be allowed in the show ring during the lineup in Amateur and Youth Exhibitor Classes only for aiding, assisting and encouraging the exhibitor. The attendant may not touch the horse below the knees, unless directed to do so by the judge. You are also allowed into the center of the ring prior to the start of the class if you are the second rider in a pro/am or am/am class. Also as a reminder, you are not allowed to touch the horse from over the rail.

Please be cautious about “Running your rider into the ring." Don’t take a chance in getting your rider excused.
