Out On Parole...
A seven time World Champion in eight attempts!
A look at the career record of Out On Parole provides some interesting information. Our newest World Grand Champion has been shown and judged a total of 17 times during a four-year show ring career. He was shown 5 times as a two-year-old; 5 times as a three-year-old; 4 times as a four-year-old and 3 times this past season.

As a two-year-old, he won 4 times and finished third at one show; as a three-year-old, he won twice and was reserve 3 times; as a four-year-old, he won 3 times and was reserve once and as an aged horse he was undefeated winning three straight in 2002.

He has amassed a show ring record of 12-4-1 (12 wins, 4 reserves and 1 third) or a winning percentage of 71%. He has only shown outside the state of Tennessee twice - both times at the Magnolia Classic in Mississippi as a two-year-old and a three-year-old - where he emerged victorious on both occasions.

His record at the Celebration is even more impressive. He has shown at the World Championship eight times and has won 7 blues with a reserve as a three-year-old - a winning percentage of 88%.. He has won 4 World Championships and three World Grand Championships culminating with being crowned the 2002 World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse.

During his career, he has been trained and shown by Steve Dunn and has remained under the ownership of Randall and Sadie Baskin - an Alabama trainer and Tennessee owners. He won 6 of the 7 times he was shown the past two years and last tasted defeat at the Money Tree Classic in 2001. He finished his show ring career with 5 straight wins.

The list of horses that have defeated him at one time in the ring includes Cash’s All Star (2), Armed With Pride, The Sure thing, Watchtower and Shout. He has avenged all of these defeats and has been virtually untouchable the last two years.
