LONDON, Ky. – The Laurel Optimist Club in London, Ky., hosted its annual walking and racking horse show on Aug. 16, 2009. Donnie May of Richmond, Ky., judged the walking classes and Jerry Goodman of Science Hill, Ky., judged the racking classes.
With the classes packed, the crowd was on its feet most of the night. Gene Beckner called the Walking Stake to the ring and announced for Walt Bruner and He’s All Power to ride to the winner’s circle to accept the championship title.
Show Manager Jack Watkins gave his thanks to everyone who supported the show and invites everyone to come back next year.
