RICHMOND, Ky. - The first of three shows was held at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Richmond, Ky., on April 26, 2008. The show got underway at 4 p.m. with Jennifer Bingham Davis judging the 46-class event

The show was dedicated to Kay Sizemore who had passed away April 25, 2008, and was a true supporter of the walking horse industry and the Madison County Fair Board.

The stables claiming the most blues were John Jackson with a total of four blues and Jerry Ping, Sweet Revenge and Martin Stables and Andy Withers Stables with a total of three blues each. There were several independent blues as well.

Keith Blackburn and I’m A Five Star General claimed the walking stake title for Bruce and Kim Butler of Morehead, Ky.
