PRESTONBURG, Ky. - The United Performance Racking Horse Breeders’ and Trainers’ Association held its annual horse show at the Stone Crest Equine Center in Prestonsburg, Ky., on Sept. 11-13.

Paul Livingston and Jimmy Norris judged the three-day event and alternated the classes. Several stalls were rented and trainers from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia and West Virginia attended the show. The USDA attended the Friday and Saturday night sessions of the show and attendance and entries were down. However, the show went on and the association still intends to send some of its proceeds to St. Jude’s Hospital.

Lori Oppenheimer collected money for the Vest family memorial fund by selling stud fee tickets for the raffle.

Show management would also like to thank everyone who supported the show and ask that you keep your calendars open for next year.
