On July 21, 2021, two-time Lead Line World Grand Champion My Little Red Wagon, a pony owned and loved by the Jake Jacobs family of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was humanely euthanized at Tennessee Equine Hospital after enduring a leg fracture.

Sired by Bet On Shaker and out of E’s Red Poppy, My Little Red Wagon was foaled on March 8, 2008, to Charles Gleghorn of Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Affectionately known as “Wagon,” the little red pony made his show ring debut with Boston Kate Tillman at the 2017 Manchester Lions Club Horse Show, where he made his first victory pass of many, under the direction of Kim Bailey. The duo went on to capture the 2017 Lead Line World Grand Championship at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.

In 2018, My Little Red Wagon was paired with Alexis Cofer. This team captured wins at the Woodbury Lions Club and Belfast show, and were reserve in the Lead Line World Grand Championship. Cofer and Wagon continued to shine bright in lead line competition, earning five wins throughout the 2019 show season and adding another reserve world grand championship to his resume.

In 2020, My Little Red Wagon was selected by the Jake Jacobs family for Ally Jo Jacobs to campaign in lead line competition. Wagon and Ally Jo quickly formed an inseparable bond that would only grow stronger as time passed. The duo won the hearts of many fans as they enjoyed an undefeated season with wins at the Money Tree Classic, Woodbury Lions Club, Liz’s Kids Show, Marshall County Horseman’s Association, Fayetteville Blue Ribbon, National Trainers’ Show and Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, earning the 2020 Lead Line World Grand Championship.

At the time of his passing, My Little Red Wagon and Wylder Way were undefeated with four wins in 2021. Ally Jo loved sharing Wagon with Wylder and never missed an opportunity to cheer her favorite team on.

My Little Red Wagon will be remembered for his love for children, gentleness and competitive spirit.
