1800 Collect
April 13, 1996 - March 23, 2011
1800 Collect unexpectedly passed away March 23, 2011, after a bout with colic. This two-time World Champion touched the lives of all who came in contact with him. Purchased in 1999 by Joe and Saundra Pippin Clift, 1800 Collect was shown numerous times in the Show Pleasure, Amateur Owned & Trained as well as the Park Performance division. He was awarded Performance Horse of the Year several times in the Mid-South Horse Show Association. This 15-year-old gelding could be recognized at any show with his head held proudly in the air looking for his turn in the ring.
The big bay horse brought many smiles to his owner’s face as well as others who had a chance to work with him. 1800 Collect passed away at Creekside Stables in Savannah, Tenn., were his memory will live on forever.
