World Champion Gone And Done It passed away suddenly on April 14, 2020. The twenty-four-year-old gelding was owned by the Woodruff Family and was a favorite for proud owner, Becky Woodruff. Sired by Beam’s Curtain Call and out of a Ebony’s Threat A mare, Gone And Done It was a little horse with a big heart.

He began his show career as a four-year-old, owned by Connie May. Entering the ring 97 times and capturing wins at the Alabama Jubilee, Panama City Show, Petersburg Lions Club and The Celebbration, just to name a few. In 2004, Gone And Done It caught the eye of Becky Woodruff and the team started their journey under the Charlie Green Stables banner. That same year son Woody, made a deal with his mom to show the gorgeous black stallion at the Celebration. This would be Woody’s first time in the ring at the Celebration and his first and only show with Gone And Done It. This ride proved to be a highly successful decision as the duo won the O/A Novice Gentleman Riders on Novice Mares and Geldings World Championship.

Following that Celebration, Gone And Done It and Becky went on to enjoy many rides and shows together. In 2013, Woodruff and Gone And Done It made their last ride together at the Allen Ingle Memorial winning the Amateur 15.2 & Under class. Following this ride he was retired to the pasture where he spent his remaining years. The Woodruff Family is thankful for their time and years spent with Gone On Done It. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
