Equine Obituary – I’m Street Legal

The Gary Lester families’ beloved champion, I’m Street Legal, affectionately know as “Big”, passed away due to complications with his kidneys and eventually pneumonia. I’m Street Legal was adored by his rider, Laura Lester and trainer, Andy Simpson. In just five years, he has won everywhere from North Carolina, Virginia, to East, West, and Middle Tennessee including 15 blue-ribbon rides. In 2009, he had carried Laura to victory passes at the Spring Fun Show, the Mid-South show, and the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival show with reserves at the Gulf Coast Charity and Parkers Crossroad competing mostly in the Adult Pony division. Laura credits “Big” with giving her some of the most memorable rides she has ever had. She wants to say thank you to everyone for all of the condolences. “Big” will be forever missed!
