The Walking Horse community was saddened to learn of the passing last week of 1998 World Champion and World Grand Champion Three-Year-Old, Pusher's High Voltage.  Always a crowd favorite, Pusher's High Voltage was owned by Beckie Hicks of Bell Buckle, Tenn., and trained and ridden by Mickie McCormick.  He was Reserve World Champion Four-Year-Old Stallion in 1999; and in one of his last show ring appearances, he won the 2003 WHTA Auxiliary class at the Celebration with Dru McCormick in the irons.

Foaled on May 18, 1995, the roan stallion was by The Pusher and out of a Pride's Generator mare, Gen-Aire.  After his distinguished show ring career, he stood at public stud.  Of his 200+ get, he has many show ring stars, among them the late great Shock Jock.

Walking Horse Report extends its sincere sympathy to the Hicks and McCormick families.
