FAST Announces 2011 Scholarship Deadline Change

FAST announces a change in the deadline for the 2011 FAST Scholarship application. This year’s deadline will be July 1, 2011. If you are interested in applying, please go on-line to www.FASTwalkingshowhorse.org and download a scholarship application and mail it in by July 1, 2011. Applications post marked after 6:00 p.m. July 1, 2011, will not be considered. Please be aware that FAST scholarships will be awarded to Trade Schools too. For Example: Farrier Schools and Vet Tech programs. Please call for more information.
The scholarships will be based on academic performance (30%), need (30%), equine involvement (30%) and extracurricular activities (10%). No incomplete applications will be considered. FAST is a 501 C 3 and is dedicated to the preservation, protection and promotion of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse through education and funding of Walking Horse Industry programs and initiatives.
