BAILEYTON, Tenn. - The 27th annual Baileyton Horse Show took place July 25, 2009. Sponsors for the horse show were the Baileyton Ruritan Club and United Volunteer Fire Department. The show manager for the evening was R.B. Barkley Jr., and his wonderful wife, Cora Sue. There were 32 classes offered in walking and URHOEA racking divisions. Ken Estes, from Morristown, Tenn., served as the judge for the night.
Six talented entries made the gate call for the Walking Horse Specialty Stake class. It was the team of Final’s Masquerade, with Vickie Hughes in the irons, who was called to the winner’s circle. Farrell and Anna Lou Hughes from Burnsville, N.C., are the proud owners of Final’s Masquerade. Reserve honors went to the talented team of Gen's Solid Gold and Donnie Sinard, for owners Ed and Eileen Smith of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
