Saturday, June 6, 2009
Andy Messick, DQP Coordinator for the SHOW HIO, released the following inspection results from the National Trainers' Show and the Germantown Charity Horse Show on Friday night.
In Shelbyville at the Trainers' Show, there were 78 horses presented for inspection. SHOW DQP's wrote 3 scar rule violations, with one of them being post show. USDA VMO's took information on those three horses plus one more for scar rule. The VMO's also wrote three unilateral sensitivity tickets and two tickets based on digital radiography. Digital radiography tickets were for illegal shoeing(heel springs) and a coffin bone rotation greater than 5%.
There were 23 horses presented for inspection at Germantown and neither the SHOW DQP's or the VMO's wrote a ticket.
