LAUREL, Miss. - Chris Bobo of Shelbyville, Tenn., marked the cards for the Laurel Charity Horse show Saturday, September 19, 2009. The show was not up in entries from years past but had a great crowd. Some of the trainers that came were Edgar Abernathy, Ray Gilmer, Dale Watts and Jerry Woodlee. Pioneer Stables took home the most blue ribbons tallying up at a total of eight. The Walking Stake was captured by Ray Gilmer aboard Pushing The Gen for owner JoAnn Dempsey of Tupelo, Miss.
