Grace In Command - Equine Obituary
Thursday, August 28, 2014
The beautiful and talented show mare, Grace In Command, was foaled May 28, 1999 and died as a result of colic early Tuesday morning, August 26, 2014. Grace was shown by Harolene Willis, Brittney Wilson, Jordan Elridge, Jim Hartzog, and Amelia Patterson before her purchase by the Kasey Kesselring family in 2006. Grace gave Kailin many beautiful blue ribbon rides in youth, equitation and show pleasure classes. She was purchased in 2009 by Wayne and Freda Dean. Under the care and direction of Wayne, Grace carried Freda to many memorable rides in show pleasure classes. Grace was a one in a million horse. She was loved and cared for, and will be sorely missed by the Dean family. Wayne and Freda wish to express their appreciation for the many calls, texts, and comments regarding the loss of "Gracie". A special thank you to our veterinarians, Dr. Randy Baker and Dr. Alan Bell. The Tennessee Walking Horse industry is a family for which we are proud to belong!
