Over 320 Horses Inspected In Columbia

The Columbia Spring Jubilee Horse Show was held May 29-30, 2009 in Columbia, Tenn. The Jubilee is affiliated with SHOW. Designated Qualified Persons (DQP) Coordinator, Andy Messick was in attendance and released the following inspection numbers.

On Friday night May 29 SHOW inspected 160 horses. Two horses failed inspection on scar rule violations and one horse received a ticket for a unilateral sensitivity violation.

On Saturday night May 30, SHOW inspected 165 horses. Three horses received tickets for scar rule violations and one horse received a unilateral sensitivity violation.

For the two-day event, the inspections resulted in a 98% compliance rate with the Horse Protection Act.
