Following yesterday's TWHBEA Executive Board meeting where Executive Director Charles Hulsey along with members of the press were excused, Charles Hulsey told the report that TWHBEA will continue to encourage shows to affiliate with the National Horse Show Commission.

“I was not at the meeting but I will say that we have a horse show development program where we assist new horse shows and versatility shows,” according to Hulsey. “In the short term, TWHBEA is going to go ahead and encourage horse shows to continue to affiliate with the NHSC and versatility programs.”

Hulsey refused to comment on reports that he has been reprimanded as a result of impropriety regarding the handling of registration papers. He did agree, however, that the widespread rumors concerning this matter are much worse than the truth.
