Industry Reaches Out to Vest Family

The Tennessee Walking horse family has joined together to lend a helping hand to one of it’s own. When hearing about the Tom Vest family tragedy, friends and loved ones immediately wanted to help. Owners, trainers, breeders and friends have selected a line of top breeding stallions to be raffled off individually at the Morehead State Cheerleading Fall Round Off horse show, which will be held on November 15, 2008 at Derrickson Arena in Morehead, Ky. Also available, is a full page black and white ad to the walking horse report, a 5-year membership to walking horse chat.com and a 1-year subscription and a banner for What-A-Horse. Each ticket will cost $20 and proceeds will go to the Vest Family to pay for funeral expenses and medical bills.
