Injury Sidelines Rowdy Rev
Saturday, September 5, 2009
2009 World Champion Rowdy Rev suffered a quarter-crack and will not be able to show tonight in the World Grand Championship Class. The popular stallion owned by Harlinsdale Farm won the B Division of the Aged Stallion qualifier last Saturday night.
Trained and ridden by Shelbyville trainer Bill Bobo, the pair were one of the favorites to win the World Grand Championship. "We sincerely appreciate all the fans support and hate to not be able to show tonight but we have to put the welfare of Rowdy Rev first," said owner Bill Harlin.
