International Horse Show To Host Silver Anniversary

The 25th annual International Grand Championship Walking Horse Show will be held at the new Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Pleasure and Colt divisions will be held August 3-7 and the Performance division will be held October 2-4.

The International Horse Show and walking Horse Owners’ Association participate in various local charities each year. First Step Outreach Ministries of Murfreesboro has been chosen benefactor for 2003. First Step Outreach is a non-denominational organization that helps men, women and families who are seeking help in overcoming life-controlling problems, such as alcoholism and drug abuse.

At the present date, 75% of the current box seat holders have already made their reservations for this year’s show. If anyone is interested in purchasing box seats or reserved seats, they are now being sold on a first come/first serve basis.

Also, the Walking Horse Owners’ Association has moved their headquarters to the Tennessee Miller coliseum. Their new mailing address is: O.O. Box 4007, Murfreesboro, TN 37133 and their new telephone number is 615-494-8822.
