The industry's number one Plantation Stallion "Iron Works" passed away Saturday, July 12 during an emergency intestinal surgery at Nolensville Animal Clinic in Nolensville, Tennessee.

After his passing, Iron was brought back to his home at Bridlewood Farm where a graveside service was held in his honor with his owners Randall and Gloria Dixon and members of his Bridlewood Farm Family, Larry Lowman, Judith Burgess, Larry Lowman II, Scott Williams and Tanya Hopper in attendance.

"We at Bridlewood Farm have lost not only a great horse, but a great friend and the walking horse industry has lost a great ambassador," stated Bridlewood Farm co-owner Larry Lowman.

"Iron Works" amassed five World Championship titles during his show career and spent his entire breeding career at Bridlewood Farm.
