WHITE PINE, Tenn. – The 35th annual Tennessee State Championships got off to a great start on Aug. 13, ending Aug. 15 with Irresistible Cash and Paul Livingston taking the top prize of Grand Champion for McSpadden and Livingston.

Mack Dekle, Joel Nipper and Eddie Davis marked the cards for the show with 11 unanimous decisions for the 34 walking classes. In three days of showing, the multi-breed event had a total of 69 classes with 478 entries. This year’s show also benefited the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
